Stakoko is an ongoing collab project with Berlin based artist Niels Kalk.
It is a one-off edition piece made of different solid woods. These guys can be stacked together in many configurations.
Meet the characters:
Totem size is 25cm (10in) tall and was made of five different types of reclaimed wood:
Pinotea, soft and elegant (Neko and Mo)
Anchico, hard and stable (Jango’s body)
Lapacho, strong and noble (Jango’s ears and trunk / Quappo)
Incienso, versatile and aromatic (Goffo and Lolo)
Iroko, strong and light (Goffo’s face / Aso / Quappo’s slug)
These woods are native to South America and Africa.
